    That is an awesome image!

I can only make out the square and compass and the arm and hammer, which I assume would be from the The Independent United Order of Mechanics.

Any speculation on the other emblems?

I am not a mason, but I do own an original 1861 Masonic Almanac. Among other things, it has the masonic seals of all the states. I'll have to dig it out of the collection to verify other things, if anyone is interested.

I would certainly be interested in the seal for Missouri.

It appears to be mid- to late- 1800's, maybe turn-of-the-century. As it is framed, I am unable to see the back to see if it is marked at all. Some searching online has informed me that it is a Royal Arch apron, however the handfast on the flap at first led me to believe it may have IOOF influences. I am just hoping that someone who is an experienced collector may have more info for me. I myself am not a Mason, though my father is. I have always been interested in historical Masonic items, though I am not really a collector. Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

This apron is purely Masonic...and an early one, too! The arms on the body of the apron is that of the Antient (Ancient) Grand Lodge of England. This apron was made sometime before the Antient and the Moderns came together to form the United Grand Lodge of England.

The UGLE was formed in 1813. Previous to that, the Grand Lodge of England (to become known as the "Modern's") had existed in London. In around 1751, a "rival" Grand Lodge made up of mostly Irish (later to be called the "Antient's") came into being in London. Neither of these two GL's considered the other to be "regular", thus they did not associate until in 1799 they began negotiating for a United Grand Lodge of England. The big fuss over Antient vs Modern even made it's way here to the States, too (Carolinas, mostly). Very nice find.
