          Here are two Union lads buried in late 1860s and late 1870s in Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra, Neb. My son and his crew cleaned about 30 veterans gravestones and refinished the 100-pounder cannon tube in the G.A.R. circle as his Eagle Scout project this summer.

                          David Sackville Cooke Cemetery, Williamson Co. Texas. Mr. Cooke was a chief justice from 1860-1862, and county judge from 1866-1867. He enlisted in in CSA as private in Company C 7th Texas Cavalry on October 1, 1862 and was discharged from Camp Cleaver, Austin TX, January 20, 1863 due to "paralysis of the bladder and disease of the kidneys."
