  • Fife Case

    Hello all,

I am looking for a quality reproduction of a fife case. I noticed The Old Glory Drum Shop had some for sale, but I do not know the quality of that product. Any other ideas?

    Thanks,
    James E. Boyle, Jr.

Nick Duvall was making them at one point. I would suggest contacting him, I don't think you'll find a better one.

      Re: Fife Case

Dell Leather Works make a good copy of the case in Echoes of Glory.

As this case seems to be very rare a better option (and cheaper one) is to make it yourself.

Use either a piece of painted cloth, ticking, or canvas for the case. Use a small piece of leather hat sweatband for the belt loop (You cloud use the same cloth as the case for the loop if you wish.. Hand sew it all together and you will have a great field made fife case.
