The Sacred Harp, or Songs of Worship: 1865 & earlier

Greetings pards,

I am starting up a contimplation of songs of worship from 1865 and earlier, and I am including alot of sacred harp songs. If you all could help me out by giving me some good sacred harp titles, or just good CW period songs of worship.

Well, I've been looking at Civil War Hymns for a while, and I can sugest some...and when I get off and come back I can send along a url for full lyrics etc. But here goes:

"Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken" (If you know Deutchland, Deutchland uber alles, you know this tune)
Jerusalem My Happy Home (tune is Land of rest)
Lord Dismiss us (Sicilian MAriners)
On Jordan's Stormy BAnk (its in the Southern HArmony)
He Leadeth Me
How Firm a Foundation
Nearer My God to Thee
Stand Up for Jesus
Rock of Ages
You may have these, but they are ones that aer not in the Sacred Harp.
Do you have:
Wondrous Love
Wayfaring Stranger

I think they are from ther sacred Harp..

For non Sacred hymns I used hymns from this site

hope these help. I also looked at the dates they were written or the dates of composers births/deaths to see how old they would have been when the war was being fought.
