I have reenacted now for more than 25 years and have done alot of research.
I took a course on living history and in it was a discussion about expermental living history. My question I would like to put to everyone in a open question is, what do you think of writing civil war songs as reenactors that come from our experiences of reenacting? I have written several now and co authored others. They follow along with our camp activities and engagements. Do you think that it is acceptable to play such songs at a reenactment as part of our living history experience?
