    Here are 2 tablature's from Phil. Rice's 1858 Correct Method for the Banjo. Picayune Butler has the melody and words on the top staff, and the banjo part underneath it. It took me months to get the singing and playing down together, but it's worth it. If one of your comrade's like's to sing, you might teach him this song and just play behind him.

    What's Going On is a banjo solo. It's pretty straight-ahead.
