  • Looking for "Dandy Jim of Caroline" tab

Anyone got Dandy Jim tabbed? Looking for any help, as I've just been plugging it out in my own fashion ... not sure if its authentic or not, and would like to know how others are playing it.

    Eric,

Go to the Elderly.com website and purchase the two "tab" banjo books that they have available - Briggs and Converse. There are probably 60+ songs between these two books, transcribed from the originals.

Re: Looking for "Dandy Jim of Caroline" tab

Dandy Jim is also well-tabbed by Bob Flesher. I recently purchased a couple of Banjo books from him. Flesher has two excellent books on old minstrel style banjo. I don't have the web address handy, but do a google search for Dr. Horsehair Music Company.
