Edit- Paul C. sent me a message telling me how to embed these youtube vids, and I've tried every combination to get the GD thing to work, and I can't figure it out, so I'll just sit in the corner here and wait for my infraction notice.

Aw come on, I'm not that tough am I?
If you look up there at your URL, just do this:

    [*youtube]FbMVHmBvj6w[*/youtube]

If you input that code but without the red astericks * you get this:

            Carl -

Wow, and thanks for that. Am I hearing an interlude in Minor key? Haven't gone there with my Arkansas Traveller version.

I've heard your Blue Eagle Jail before (tip: that's also there on U-tube) so expected that to be so entertaining.

                Thank you, Forrest.

His name is Scott Miller, and he's from St. Louis. He's all about the bones, here's his website http://rhythm-bones.com/

He has a store, and if anyone's interested in getting into the bones, he's the perfect guy to get them from; he'll throw in an instructional manual and cheerfully answer any questions one might have about the oldest rhythm instrument. Like the difference between Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal style.

I'm kidding! There's not many instruments a banjo player can poke fun at- bones is one.

I have to say that clip and the other one I found with it were very good. Are there anymore clips by these two besides Antietam Jig/ Blue Eagle Jail and Arkansas Traveller?

Thanks, that did help. There are probably a half dozen clips of interesting performances there. Very entertaining. Listening to a recording is one thing, seeing it played is another.

                              Hey Travis,

We won't be at Bentonville but we will be attending Silvana Sidalli's little sore-eye in Defiance next month. Looking forward to that one--they'll be some dancin':wink_smil
