The new CD about the Canebrake Minstrels prompted me to remember the CD I never could turn up from the Sandy River Minstrels that includes "Dandy Jim from Caroline." Anyone out there know what happened to them or how I could get that CD?

Re: Sandy River Minstrels???
Hi,
This is John Keller of the Canebrake Minstrels. I had been looking for the Sandy River Minstrels, myself, and Professor Stephen Railton of the University of Virginia's Uncle Tom's Cabin & American Culture archive (http://www.iath.virginia.edu/utc/) says he believes they have disbanded -- possibly because of a serious illness among its members. I have no confirmation of this, but that's what I've heard.
