    Hey Todd, my grandfather was in Co. H, 31st Tenn. He originally enlisted in Co. C, 27th Tenn, but was captured, took the Oath, then like the Irish rascal he was, re-enlisted with the 31st Tenn. Small world isn't it! One of the other members here on the AC, Scott Busenbark/Boozie, had a grandfather in Co. E, 31st Tenn.

      My GG-Grandfather was a member of the 52nd Tennessee, Company B; he was from Hardin County. I had two Great Uncles in th 31st Tennessee, Company E "Sons of The South". Stephen P. Taylor was captured at the battle of Atlanta and 1st Sergeant William W. Taylor, captured at the battle of Nashville. They were from Gibson County.
