  • Over-shirts

    Hi,

I am looking for any pictures of men wearing over-shirts or "battle-shirts. The pictures can be original or they can be modern pictures of original over-shirts. Thanks.

    Andrew,

Take a look at this article: http://www.lazyjacks.org.uk/shirts.htm
That should be of some help.
    Sincerely,

There's a pic in EOG, I believe its on the page with Pvt. Palmer's early war uniform.

You'll want to get a copy of Les Jenson's Johnny Reb...which was published as part of the GI Series. This can be had on Amazon for around $15...and is well worth the $$.
