One of my friends has a piece of schrapnel that came out of his buttocks in a little glass case on his mantle. Quite the conversation piece.

A friend's brother had a big toe severed in a forklift accident. He had it in a jar of alcohol and proudly paraded it around. It was shocking, but I could sort of understand where he was coming from. If it was me, I'd probably do the same.

P.s. Isn't anyone going to point out it's spelled GRISLY, not GRIZZLY? I guess I will.

My uncle bought a jap flyers cap home from the Pacific after WWII. My grandmother made him get rid of it because it was very much like the inside of this canopy and smelled very bad.

Although Timothy Treadwell's family would probably disagree....

That is one nice peice of jewelry! We have in our museum's collection a bullet saved by a soldier in the Iron Brigade. It struck him near the eye and he saved it when it was removed by a surgeon. It's an interesting story:
