Labeled Confederate POW's but they all have a Federal look about themselves. Has not this photograph been discussed afore?

This is an excellent photo!!!!!!! It has been discussed before in the above thread, but is an image certainly worthy of discussion.

I like it, especially I do not know if this man is a Federal Prisoner or if he is a civilian talking to the federal prisoners but look smack dab center there appears to be a man in a civilian frock, vest, trousers, and definitely civilian shoes.

Also on the rail cars it is labeled U.S.M.R.R. is that to stand for United States Military Rail Road or for something else?

Also with such a large group of Federal Prisoners look at how casual the two confederate guards are...neither one has a hand on their weapons.
