    From the Florida State Library, call number Rc11475
    Laurie M. Anderson of Tallahassee was a member of the Bradford Light Infantry, Florida Battalion, Company A. He died April 7, 1862, at the Battle of Shiloh.

    definately a 1821 pattern sword hilt. have seen this pic before but with not as much detail. daper looking gent!

      I've always loved that photo, as it has so much going on in it. My only regret is that this is the photo everyone in Florida refers to when they slap one of those 6 pointed "Florida stars" on their bad kepi or hat.
