      The drum canteen sure bears a strong resembalance to the one sported by fellow Pelican Thomas Taylor.

        What a great image! Am I seeing contrasting color shirt collar, strips on the shoulders, and maybe even the placket?

          I've always had a deep interest in studio portraits and photographs are windows in which to view our past. This is an absolutely great portrait of James B. Warren, 16th Louisiana. Thanks for sharing it with us.
