Hello, this is an image of one of Quantrill's Guerrillas by the name of A.J. "Andy" Walker on the website, http://www.canteymyerscollection.com/. I am a Missouri reenactor on the Kansas-Missouri border, so one of my impressions is occasionally a guerrilla and I often use this website as reference. I came upon this image a while ago and have been trying to figure out what it is that he has wrapped around his neck. It looks as though it is not part of his jacket or undershirt. The only thing I can really see out of it is that is has fringe going around the entire thing like a shawl of some sort. I do not believe it could be a scarf as scarves usually only have fringe on the ends.
