  • CS Wooden Dish Buttons

    I noticed this on the Gardner picture of the dead Confederates near the Rose Farm at Gettysburg. They sure appear to be wooden dish buttons on this man's jacket

    There's another view Gardner did showing the same person. In that photo you can clearly see the shoulder epualettes on his jacket with the same style buttons albeit smaller
