It looks to me like one of the old CS coats seen in so many Civil War themed movies from the 1940's thru the 1960's. I think the current bid price says it all....Tom "Mingo" Machingo

I am no expert by any stretch but I have studied Span-Am stuff myself and I would have to agree with Mr. Hartness. It looks like a 1887 or 1889 fatigue blouse variant without the external pockets.Matthew S. Laird
