  • High-Res Fatigue Blouse images?

Can't exactly spend the money and get a copy of "For Fatigue Purposes," and my internet searches are proving unsuccessful, so does anybody know of where I can find some high-res images of original faitgue blouses? I'm the process of making a fatigue blouse, and just wanted to get a closer look at some originals. Suprisingly, there's a lack of museums around me that would help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Re: High-Res Fatigue Blouse images?

Most researchers are very hesitant to share their photographs of original uniforms (myself included), because once they are shared, it never ends. We have had images we had shared hijacked and published in a book on uniforms and on an internet web site with out the publisher obtaining permission or even giving credit for the images, which is a violation of copyright law. The photographer owns all rights to the useage of their images. I did not take the images myself, but the person who did is a member of this forum.

      Mr. Cross,
That makes sense and is totally understandable. Thanks for the reply.

Send a personal message to Paul McKee. He is in China right now, so it may be a while. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Heritage Auctions' online catalog has high resolution pictures of a Martin contract blouse made for Cincinnati Depot. You will have to join their site to see the photos, but it's worth it. Lots of good stuff there.
