I have a James River Armory defarbed 61 and want to live fire it. Does anyone know, 1. Is it safe to fire this brand. And 2. Would I use the standard 58. Or something less.
thanks
Short answer- you'll be ok shooting. They used Italian barrels, and some relined by Hoyt as I recall, so you won't have problems. The proper size ball for your barrel might be .58, or something smaller. The N-SSA folks will need to steer you on sizing a ball.
