So plan on biting the bullet and just getting a decent pair of brogans from MBS. I was looking at options on their heel plates and they offer surface mount and Inlet. I've never encountered Inlet mount heel plates. Haven't had a chance to view many originals. Which would be more correct? Is there an advantage to inlet vs surface mount?
