  • A Capital Joke - laugh out loud funny

I think most of you will enjoy reading this column which appeared in the Elyria Independent Democrat. Especially if you have an interest in sutlers and/or "Fraternal Orders" during the war.

I smell a Woodburn scam in the making.

Speaking of cleaning out the sutler. This one isn't as funny but just as descriptive.

Good work by those "boys in blue"!! I also imagine from out in the Far West the cry of their brethren in the Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus crying "Sastifactory!!"

I do say, I will beware of the "bum's rush"! I know of a few Hoosiers and Buckeyes (probably a few WIGeroo's too) that I will have to keep my eyes on and my shotgun cocked.

          Excellent articles.
