  • 1842 Band Spring Replacement

    Gents,
Does anyone know how to replace a band spring on an 1842? The front band spring broke and I have ordered the new part. I was just wondering if the part just slides into place or if glue is required to fix it? If you have to use glue, what kind of glue is appropriate?

Just knock the broken piece out with a band spring punch or small punch and slide the new one in?
