  • Hendershott Museum Consultants?

I have not really looked at their online catalogs for a while, but I cannot find the website anymore to the Hendershott Museum Consultants. Does anyone know what happened?

    Re: Hendershott Museum Consultants?

    Hey Patrick,

Gary Hendershott has that company which consigns museum quality artifacts of the War to priate collectors with lots of "Dixie Dough". For a while I received his catalogs, and he and myself share some of the same intrests in colonial Mississippi Valley material. He is now the director of the Civil War Dept. for Heritage Auction Galleries out of Dallas, Tx. where he continues to organize some of the finest and I mean finest early American and Civil War militaria in existance! They are having an auction for this season on the 28th and 30th of this month (I think) in Gettysburg. Go to www.ha.com (Civil War section) and check out the lots. The photgraphic material can only be rivaled by Cowan's out of Ohio, which is a good group too.

    Thanks,

Thank you for providing the link Erik. I remember seeing a kepi on the old site that belonged to Pvt. Royall of the Richmond Howitzers, an identical twin to the one at the MOC. Does anyone know what happened to this cap or have any pictures of it?
