Greetings,
I am new to CW Recreation and have done my level best to be as authentic as my budget and time will allow. I bought a Parker Hale Enfield and the accompanying bayonet and frog. At my last drill session I was told that the Union did not use the Enfield frog but used an Enfield bayonet in a Springfield scabbard as all leather issued was of one kind regardless of rifle issued.
Any validity to this or is my leg being pulled by someone?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
