  • Repairing a kepi

Does anyone know how to repair a kepi? The one I have has pretty severe damage to the leather sweat band, and the inner lining is falling apart. Any advice or people to talk to would be great. Thanks

I'd just sew a new sweatband into in. As for the liner, its hard to say. You might could patch it, but you would proably be better off just sewing a new liner into it as well. Or you just keep it as is. there's nothing wrong with the use of delapidated headwear for some situations.

    Just My 2 cents,

You can try "Walnut Hill Depot" They are fine makers of leather goods and uniforms, and they might repair also. They have a website, heres the link. http://walnuthilldepot.tripod.com/
