Hello all,
I have recently started to attempt to create my own pistol cartridges (44 and 36) and have some questions about the paper.
After reading may articles on the web, I thought I would stop by the AC forum and I was surprised that I was not able to find any existing threads for pistols (a few for rifles).
What I have found, most people use cigarette papers and a few soak them in Salt Petre (not sure why).
Some pinch and fold the ends and some glue a flat bottom on.
Some say that they must be 'pierced', some say that they tear on the way in and don't need to be and some say they work just fine 'as is'......
What I would like to know is what experience you guys have had and what seems to work the best.
Any comments or feedback greatly appreciated.
