I have a question I have a photo to include but don't know how to do so...grumble. (I kept hitting the little yellow picture icon but nothing happens.)
I am attempting to figure out HOW a star was sewn onto a flag so that the edges wouldn't fray.
I have a tiny image shrunk down as well as the full mama-jama that is super detailed of a star on a Confederate Battle Flag. From what I can see and assume, the edges are folded under and the thing is sewn down.
If I am correct....HOW ON EARTH is a star cut out of material so that there is enough edge to fold under?
This one has me pickled... Anybody know how this was done OR has successful figured something like this out?
Regards,
