  • ISO: Zehring Jacket (Milledgeville jacket) Information

I am looking to producing a so-called Milledgeville Depot jacket for myself for an upcoming event but I have no information on the original outside of photographs here and in Echoes of Glory. Has anyone been fortunate enough to study this garment in person? I'm most interested in information on the interior construction of the coat.

    Thanks for your help!

    Brian,
I'd love to have the info myself! I have found one picture of the jacket on the Horse Soldier web site: http://www.horsesoldier.com/catalog/c0052.html
    Good luck!

Jodi Nolan of the Gburg area had an opportunity to examine and take notes on this jacket back in the late 1990s when the jacket was at the Horse Soldier. She made a copy of the jacket for my dad. I know it's made from satinette...but you should try contacting her for more details.

        Good luck!
