Dessicated Vegetables Recipe?

I am new to the Authentic Campaigner and apologize if I am repeating an old question; but, does any one have a recipe or know where I can locate some dessicated vegetables? Yes, I'm a fresh fish to the campaign side of the hobby but have been at this for a while in the mainstream side of the house. The more envolved I become in the hobby, the more I enjoy the research and authentic side of the house. I thank you in advance for your assistance.
