Re: To Plate or not to plate?
When I sent my shoes in to be resoled recently, I also ordered some bulk hobnails for my unit (I'm also our QM) a week or two before they shipped back. When my shoes came, they had heel plates attached. When I called to ask if I had someone else's shoes, I was told that because I had ordered hobnails, and since it can cause back pain and other problems to wear hobnails without heel plates, they had been added for me at no extra charge.
