Virginia farmer impression

I'm trying to build a civilian impression and I was wondering what kind of resources could I look into? The impression would be based out of the Shenandoah Valley and it would be a yeoman farmer impression. Would this region have a distinctive style or would it be similar to other areas in the country. Thanks.
