civilian trouser buttons

Hi all,
Recently, I started to replace some of the buttons on my wool jean trousers, and was trying to figure out what types of buttons would work. After looking around, I wasn't able to find much and was wondering whether wood or bone buttons would be appropriate for a pair of trousers in the ANV. Thank you,

Noah, You can't go wrong with either bone or enameled black tin buttons. Both were very common on trousers issued to the ANV. I have a mix of both throughout my uniform collections.
