Wooden Canteen Repair?

Gents,
Does anyone know of someone who is able to repair a wooden canteen? I have a canteen maid by a friend of mine who has since passed on that the bands (which are wooden) broke on, and I would really like to get it repaired. Any and all help would be appreciated.

You may want to search for barrel cooperage's, there is one or two in Wellston, Ohio. After all a wooden canteen is a small barrel.
