Anyone making a repro lorenz musket tool? Anyone know who might have an original for sale? All I seem to find on line are dug ones. Thanks, Jim Hensley

Re: Reproduction Lorenz tool?
Try Tim Prince. I have seen some on his table at shows.
Be advised they are not inexpensive.Jim Mayo

Re: Reproduction Lorenz tool?
TRS has the reproduction Lorenz ball puller with brass sleeve, cleaning jag and cleaning worm as well as the combination tool. They are high quality wax castings taken from original parts but come "as cast" and will require finishing. Delivery times will vary.

As far as delivery times? They are doing better but keep in mind that they do not keep all of their inventory in stock, if they tried to do that they would be out of business in very short order. You need to be patient, they are not an instant gratification operation and most of their customers work in the custom reproduction end of the various time periods covered and understand the confines that they work within. Sadly, there is not a lot of demand for the Lorenz parts (especially the tools) so you may have a long wait.Thomas Pare Hern
