Jan, outstanding image. I've done this with my Federal contract shirt since my neck is too big to have it close regularly. This is great photographic proof that the men of the ACW used common sense to correct military "This size fits most" measurements.

I have this immage from this forum. It was a thread about grey regulation issue shirts. I know it is a picture of a group of handicraftsmen in an infantry unit if I recall correctely.
