Footwear Source?

Hi Everyone,
After nearly 15 years of service, it's time for me to replace my old Jefferson bootees. I haven't really kept up with the ever-changing market of suppliers, so I'd like input from all of you: Who makes the best reproduction Federal bootee right now?

N*** S***** is making a few options. I contacted Lukas Berg ln Facebook and got a pair of civilians shoes from him. They are top notch.

Echo on what the others have posted. I have a pair of MS&B which are excellent reproduction bootees. Extremely well made. Anything (just about) from the one who must not be named will also be first rate. You can't go wrong with either of these two. Cost is about the same, too. Take your pick.

I'd agree with the above. If you need them fast go with the NJS ones, Regimental quartermaster usually had them in stock. If you want custom MBS is the way to go. I personally wear NJS ones and am very pleased with them.

Hallo!

A part of one's choice is in buying " ready-made" off the rack.
Or, having M B & B custom make left and right shoes to a series of one's actual foot measurements.

Obviously, one is more historically correct (as issued or traded off). The other more.. comfortable to the uniqueness of both of your feet.
