Reading glasses

I bought a set of period cw glasses but of course the lens prescription is wrong for me.
I want to have the lens replaced but I can't find anyone local to me that will touch them.
Does anyone know of a place online or near dayton or Cincinnati ohio

I just saw your post. I have a friend who is an optician in West Michigan. He has replaced my lenses for my civil war glasses.

He does repairs for many of the local distributors, and Sam's Club and Costco send their customers who need repairs to him. They (him and his wife) are used to receiving shipments through the mail.

There's no reason you can't mail him your frames with your prescription.

He is an independent. One of the most talented guys I know. He just makes things work, and if he can't, he'll tell you.
