  • Easy Method for Worn/Used Uniforms

I read through the old threads, and noticed people asking how to get uniforms to look aged. As obvious as this may be, I found a great way to get a uniform to look used: just use it. Wear a jacket or coat while running to the grocery store. Wear it when you go for an evening walk. I have been wearing trousers and fatigue cap while hiking, and today I went hiking around Santa Fe with a small group. My trousers and fatigue cap received six hours of sunlight and use (for fading and wear), and the other hikers received small history lessons when they asked about my clothing and why I was nibbling on hardtack and boiled pork instead of trail mix. Plus, wool is actually comfortable while hiking, although fatigue caps do not prevent sunburn.

Yep, I've cut grass in new brogans before after dipping them in water. They formed to my feet much better.
