The latest episodes for the Civil War Digital Digest is kicking off a series on Gilham's School of the Solder. Not only did Confederate units use this drill manual but also some select Union regiments such as the Pennsylvania Reserves. I also provided a link to a thread on the booklet created by Silas about Gilham's for a great combination on learning this manual.
