Gentlemen,
What fabric should one use to make a copy of the Archibald Smith overcoat? (Providing one wishes to match the original fabric as closely as possible) I know it is tan jean with a medium-heavy brown cotton lining, but the photographs in the pattern are not particularly clear as to the specific color of warp and weft- what repro jean matches most closely? Also the photographs showing both body and lining suggest osnaburg weight lining- does anyone sell brown osnaburg, or would it be better just to dye my own?
