In another media, in a discussion of over-shirts in general, it was asked if the term "battle-shirt" is contemporary for soldiers using an over-shirt as uniform or if it derives from re-enactors wishing to specify over-shirts in a military context.
Articles of 20 years ago had not brought forth contemporary use, but a lot can happen in Research-land in 20 years. :-)
Documentation is appreciated. Snippy posts to "read the (20 year old) article, {stupid, incompetent nuisance}"... not appreciated so much.
