Confederate Buttonholes

I recently undertook the process of hand sewing all of my previously machine sewn buttonholes. I was able to find some good thread for my Union Frock and Sack coats, but where would be a good place to find good thread for my RD Type II jacket? Thanks for any help,

Mr. Reynolds,

BnB Tart has some good Logwood dyed cotton thread you can use. Bristol Hollow also has some Logwood S Twist linen thread. Either one is authentic, so the choice is yours.
