Gentlemen - I just finished work on the following article covering the basics of forming an infantry battalion. I'd appreciate any feedback you have, as this is my first foray into writing on battalion-level drill and is the first of a series of articles I'm planning covering the bare minimum of battalion drill that all reenactors ought to know (forming a battalion, line into column of companies, column into line to the left/right/front, etc...).
