Source for weapons issued.

I am new to this Forum and not sure where to ask this question. I did a search and couldn't find an answer. Where would I look to find out what weapons (muskets/rifles) were issued to a specific unit (specifically the 32nd Mississippi Infantry Regt.). I am guessing that the National Arcives might have this info, but not sure how to find out. I am researching the history of this unit.
