    Gentlemen,

Does anyone know who makes a decent reproduction Testament? I have one that belonged to my Great-Great-Grandmother, but there is no way I would dare use that for an event. So, does anyone know where to look for a repro?
    Thanks

Best Reproduction New Testament is from . . .

(I realize that I am resurrecting a nine-year-old thread, but why start a new one when another already exists?)

Mr. Gerkin, and Anyone Else Curious about the Subject,

While recently perusing The Sutler of Fort Scott's website, I came across their reproduction of an 1861 American Bible Society New Testament. I snatched one up and I have to say it is the best New Testament reproduction I have ever seen. If anyone is in need of an authentic reproduction New Testament, get it from the folks at Ft. Scott. I cannot recommend their Testament enough. I left a more detailed review on their website, which I reproduce below:

EXCELLENT New Testament. Finally, there is a reproduction on the market that allows one to leave the original at home while still maintaining authenticity. This is not just because it looks good on the outside and has an authentic pressed cover with gold lettering on the spine, but because of what's inside as well. It's not set in Times New Roman like other "repros", but is an exact facsimile of a period New Testament. I have an original 19th century New Testament and this reproduction essentially matches it. The only discernible difference between this New Testament and period originals is the age. This is what the originals looked like when they were new. If you are looking for a period New Testament, look no further. As it says in the description: "Simply the best reproduction Testament ever."
    Rating: ★★★★★ [5 of 5 Stars!]

I am in no way affiliated with the afore-mentioned establishment, but I am a very happy customer.

I hadn't seen this thread until this very moment but the irony is I just received my testament from the Sutler of Fort Scott on Friday, excellent product and service.
