Scott, I will be checking those out for sure. Also, thank you for the image, and any more of the shantys will be greatly appreciated. This is similar to the original image I've been basing my thoughts off of, which I've attached. The picture I've been basing my current ideas from is in one Time-Life's "Voices of the Civil War" books. The specific shelter I'm referencing is the most-right visible one.
