Looking for Cavalry interest in Arizona

Now that I have some more irons out of the fire I am looking for interest in starting a mess or troop of cavalry or mounted infantry (key word mounted) here in Arizona. I am working closly with the 1st California Infantry Co F to put together a cooperative unit of both infantry and cavalry/or mounted infantry. From extensive documentation here in AZ we find that there were allot of infantry that were issued horses in order to travel accross faster. Suprisingly there is not allot of interest in cavalry here in AZ. I will post this on several different forums to get any more interest.
