There is a new NC Artillery unit in the process of forming, recreating Starr's Battery which was a unit that stayed in NC during the war but fought at some of the engagements in eastern NC. Right now we're still getting our research together, but please send me a message if you're interested and I will get you in contact with Paul, the guy who owns the cannon.

        Daniel,
Try Reilly's battery! They are one of the few batteries that can field 2 horse drawn guns. They are in NC. Here is the website:

        http://www.reillysbattery.org/index.html

You can also PM "Roundshot" on this forum. Bob is a great guy! He is a member of Reilly's battery and can fill in all the details!

          Michael,

Thank you for the reply and the information on Reilly's battery. But, I have already found a group that fits the bill of what I'm looking for. Thanks again!
