Hello everyone,
My name is Ian Stout and I am looking for a progressive Confederate unit in the USA Buffalo Niagara NY area.. Although my interests really lie in the Confederate Army if needed due to lack of a local unit I am also willing to do a progressive Union impression. About me I am a progressive reenactor of the 18th century and I work at a large historic site and I am used to documenting items in my impression, learning and practicing period skills as well as doing research, studying primary source documentation etc.
Any guidance would be appreciated as I am new to this era in time but I am a serious student of history and I would like to enter this hobby as correctly as I can by doing the research, investing my money wisely in quality uniforms and equipment and participating with a good progressive unit. Thank you all for any help you all may be able to lend!
